Week1 -The New Plan
I welcome you precious people to word of the week.Today we’re looking at The New
Plan.
Our God is the tireless One,for when you have overwhelming energies you just keep
going without weakening.Abundant energy override weakness.Scripture says in Isaiah
26:4 that in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.Strength alien to weakness,
tireless and that could go over it all over again.And if need be again and again.
This has been the story of God with the human race.Everyday a new baby is born,
everyday someone dies,and the process recycles everyday yet initally God remains new
and athletic in energy to nurture and remain mindful of us,never getting tired.By the
two process above God daily recycles the world, someone born into the world, someone
dies from the world.This has been the sight God has been be holding for the over
6,000 years history of the earth.
But God beholds it with joy,power and strength within the God head.He has a work to
do in the human race,and He will be tireless till it is done.It is the work of erecting his
image and likeness on earth in vessels of clay.Simply put,making you and I His
standing mirror on earth.To see God,people need to only see the mirror,you! I! The
Lord Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the Father.I’m the perfect mirror to
be hold the Father.This is our calling!
God’s dealing with the human race is called covenant.We had an old covenantthat
could not make people perfect as to God’s vision for us to be perfect,meaning to be like
God in all things.To be merciful as our Father who is in heaven is merciful.To be loving
as our Father who is in heaven isloving.To be forgiving as our Father who is in heaven
is for giving.To demonstrate the powers of the heavens on earth to solve human
problems as the Lord Jesus did in His earthly life and so on.
God’s perfection for us is man living and moving as God on earth.Man reflecting on
earth the God in heaven.
The old covenant failing to lead humanity into God’s fullness,God brought a new plan,
the new covenant.The new plan is an interesting one,it is God’s masterpiece to lead
man off sin and into His everlasting will and vision for the human race-righteousness,
peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
The new plan has three components that we see in Hebrew Scripture.Quoted from the
bookofJeremiah anyway.
Hebrews 8:10-12 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after
those days,saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind,and write them in their
hearts:and I will be to them a God,and they shall be to me a people:
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour,and every man his brother,saying,
Know the Lord :for all shall know me,from the least to the greatest.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness,and their sins and their iniquities will I
remember no more.”
This is the new plan given to man by God.Verse 10 above declared,Our minds and our
hearts will be filled with God.Verse 11 declared,We will be having first hand
experiences of God.Verse 12 said,No more barriers between God and his human race!
For the curse and strength of sin is forever broken.
Here’s revealed the complete work of the Holy Spirit in ourlives.Here’s revealed the
deep work of grace in our lives.Filling our minds and our hearts with God,leading us to
first hand experiences of God and unveiling to us the immortal power of His forgiveness.
Now the three things:
1.The only way we have minds and hearts retaining God is that He touches our hearts.
A new heart! “I will put my laws into their mind and write them in their hearts.”
2.The only way we have first hand experiences of God is that He reveals Himself.
Demystifying Himself.Saying to us,here I AM! “For all shall know me,from the least to
the greatest.”
3.When ever we fall into sin and experience forgiveness,we’re to see in it the glory of his
grace. And fill our hearts with the praise of the glory of His grace.”For I will be merciful
to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”
For the next three weeks we will be looking at the three components of The New Plan.
The Holy Spirit filling our minds and our hearts with God,the Holy Spirit leading us to
first hand experiences of God and the Holy Spirit unveiling to our hearts the immortal
power of God’s loving forgiveness.
